OLYN (Operation Love Your Neighbor)

Operation Love Your Neighbor is an exciting new ministry that will bring together BOSS families with elementary school households to develop genuine friendships and offer love, care and support in an effort to reach out to neighboring schools. Mark Hopkins Elementary School has been selected as our first pilot school in the South Sacramento area. Plans are underway to implement seven components to this unique partnership. We currently offer:

Trained Volunteer Counseling

* Crisis counseling

* Process addiction counseling

* Substance addiction counseling

Tutoring

* Offer reading assistance

* Enable students to fulfill their weekly reading requirements

* Help improve test scores

Exercise/Weight Loss Programs

* Provide a fun and healthy before/after school program for students

* Fight childhood obesity
