REACH TEACH RELEASE
What does it mean to Reach Teach and Release? We like to think of “R-T-R” as the first steps on an incredible spiritual growth journey—we sincerely believe this simple acronym can spiritually transform the lives of everyone who attends our church by making four important commitments to God:
Reach:
- Invite someone to attend a weekend service, an outreach or ministry connection event so they can hear about Jesus Christ.
- Connect with one of our community partner organizations and serve the Sacramento community.
- Give a S.P.A. (Small Pockets of Assistance) Treatment. Do a random act of kindness for someone in the community—a neighbor, a stranger, a school—to show God’s love to them. Think outside the box. The options are limitless!
Teach:
- Join a community group in your area for friendship and Bible study.
- Lead or host a community group so we can grow more people at BOSS.
- Attend a Sunday equipping class or spiritual growth workshop.
- Take the Financial Peace University Class and learn how to manage your resources.
- Teach someone! Serve in Children’s or Youth Ministry and help grow the next generation for Jesus!
Release:
- Take the Discover Your SHAPE for Ministry Class to identify your gifts and talents and how you can use them in the church.
- Commit to serve in a BOSS Ministry—check out one of our many opportunities to serve.
- Commit to give to BOSS regularly—your tithes and offerings allow us to do ministry and continue to serve the community.
